SERVICE PROJECT

My Post-27.jpg

#DISTRICTSLOVESGB

This year Districts is going local to love and serve the city of Green Bay! We will be partnering with Spring Lake Church, an EFCA church that, just under year ago, opened a new campus in the heart of Downtown Green Bay in order to reach the city.

Youth Groups will register ahead of time for a Saturday time slot to go into the neighborhoods of Green Bay and deliver a ready-to-heat pizza to all the households, along with a message of love and simple offer of prayer. Each time slot will be about an hour and 15 minutes long and will correspond with each of the afternoon seminar times allowing your group to both attend seminars as well as participate in the #DistrictsLovesGB project.

We need your help! There's 2 easy ways to get involved...

1. HELP RAISE THE FUNDS

Help raise the funds to pay for the resources needed for this project. The major costs are busses for transportation to the neighborhoods, the cost of print materials, and, of course, all the pizzas. But we are also excited to bless area organizations and projects that are really making an impact in Green Bay in the name Jesus. The offering during Districts weekend will all go directly to loving the city of Green Bay.

2. sign your group up to serve

We are looking for youth groups to SIGN UP FOR SATURDAY TIMES SLOTS and participate in this project. Groups will walk one block away from Districts to the Spring Lake Church Downtown Campus, receive brief training and instruction, and will then head out to neighborhoods to deliver the pizza along with a message of love for the city. Space is limited and fills up fast. Please note that in signing up you must have 1 Adult per 6 students. Email pastorbill@springlakechurch.org or have your youth leader complete the form on the Leaders Only page.
