DYC SAFETY GUIDELINES

Youth Leader Expectations

First of all, THANK YOU for your heart to invest in the lives of students over DYC weekend. You are a gift to your church and this conference! When you check in, we have a gift for you (the main coordinator for your church).

We trust that all leaders will set an example by following conference rules and encouraging their students to do the same. You and your team of adults are responsible for your group, ESPECIALLY IN THE HOTELS.

The focus of this weekend is ministering to students. Therefore, our Leadership Team has set a policy that babies and children below sixth grade are not allowed at the conference. Thank you for understanding and respecting this policy.
IMPORTANT: ALL adult leaders must complete a background check prior to attending DISTRICTS. You will be required to send background check results to the Forest Lakes District.You will be required to enter the date of background check and national company you used WHEN REGISTERING. If a background check is not completed, that staff member or volunteer will not be allowed to attend. We would advise starting this process NOW, so you are not scrambling around registration time!
